Delete your account
Always Connected, by Urban Zamidar Group (UZG19). Two ways to delete your account and everything in it.
In the app (instant)
- Open Always Connected and go to the Us tab.
- Tap Account, then Delete account.
- Type DELETE and tap Delete forever.
Your account and data are deleted immediately. Want your data first? In the same place, Export my data gives you a downloadable copy.
Without the app
Email ijogendrajat@gmail.com from the email address you signed up with, with the subject “Delete my Always Connected account”. We confirm the request came from you, then delete your account and data within 30 days and email you when it's done.
What gets deleted
- Your account: email address, display name, profile photo and sign-in
- Messages, photos and voice notes you sent in chat (permanently removed from our messaging provider)
- Memories and Glimpses: the photo files, captions, dates and any location you attached
- Your Private Vault (its encrypted photos and captions)
- Whiteboard drawings, daily question answers, calendar events, time capsules and quiz answers
- Call history, presence (status, battery, network, approximate location) and activity used for your streak
- Invite codes, data exports you requested, and your devices’ push notification tokens
Always Connected is a shared space for exactly two people, so deleting your account also deletes that shared space (messages, memories, vault, whiteboard and the rest) for your partner. The app warns about this before you confirm. Your partner's own account stays, and they can connect with someone new.
What we keep
Only support requests you sent us, so we can finish answering them. Ask and we delete those too. Anything saved on your own phone (for example photos you downloaded, or the home-screen widget's copy) goes away when you uninstall the app.
