Beyond the one-off

The people you do keep talking to.

Birthdays

Never miss one again.

Import birthdays from your contacts in a single tap, or add anniversaries and custom dates yourself. The reminder arrives on the day, with a message ready to send.

Scheduled

Write it now. Send it on time.

Pick a date and time for a message to someone. Direct DM reminds you right then, and one tap opens the chat with your words ready.

Private

Yours alone.

There’s no account and no server. Your contacts, reminders and messages stay on your phone. The only thing that leaves is anonymous crash and performance data, which never includes your contacts or messages.

Questions

Worth knowing.

Does it save the number to my contacts?

No. Direct DM opens the chat straight from the number you type, so nothing is added to your address book.

Which apps does it open?

It opens the chat in WhatsApp, and WhatsApp Business is supported as well. You need the app installed.

Does it work for any country?

Yes. Pick the country code from the list; your default country is remembered in Settings.

What data does Direct DM collect?

There is no account and no server. Contacts, reminders and scheduled messages are stored only on your phone. The app sends anonymous crash and performance diagnostics to Google Firebase to help fix bugs; they never include your contacts or messages.

Which phones does it run on?

Android. Direct DM is free on Google Play.
