Who we are
Sarkari Alert is made by Jogendra Singh, Urban Zamidar Group (“we”). It is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any government department, recruitment board or exam body. Questions about this policy or your data, or a grievance: ijogendrajat@gmail.com.
What we collect and why

Your category, PwD status and date of birth are sensitive. They are used only to check job eligibility for you. We don't sell data, show ads, share your profile with recruiters or coaching institutes, or track you across other apps. We never see your phone number, contacts, location, files or card details.
Alerts
When you finish your profile, your phone subscribes to alert topics for your state and education level. Before any alert is shown, the app re-checks the job on your phone against your full profile. You can turn alerts off in Android settings at any time.
Who processes it
- Google Firebase: sign-in, the app's database and servers, notifications, crash reports and usage analytics.
- Google Play: payments; we never see your card.
Access to your data is locked by database rules so that only you can read your profile, and only our servers can change your subscription status after checking it with Google Play.
Your rights and choices
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can access, correct and erase your data, nominate someone to act for you, and raise a grievance. You can edit your profile in the app at any time. Delete your account in the app (account icon → Delete account) or on the delete account page. For anything else, email us; if you're not satisfied with our answer you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India. Cancel a subscription in the Google Play Store.
Young users
Sarkari Alert is an education and career-planning app with no age limit — students can use it to see which jobs they will qualify for and plan early. If you are under 18, use it with your parent or guardian's knowledge and consent. A parent or guardian can ask us to access or delete a child's data at the email above.

We'll update this page and its date when this changes, and tell you in the app about significant changes.
