2. Information stored on your device

Voltly stores charging diagnostics locally, in a database on your phone: battery level, voltage, current, temperature, charging status, plug type, session timestamps, peak and average wattage, the chargers you create and tag, and detected phone model information. It also stores app preferences such as onboarding completion, premium entitlement state, and theme choice. None of this leaves your device except as described below.

3. Information the app sends

• Anonymous charging telemetry. Voltly signs in anonymously on first launch so it can send anonymized charging telemetry, including device model, app version, rated wattage, and per-session charging stats (peak wattage, duration, temperature), to Voltly's servers. This is not linked to your name or email and is used to improve charger recommendations and per-device benchmarks across the fleet.
• Optional Google sign-in. If you sign in with Google, your charging history is additionally backed up to your account so it can be restored on another device. Signing in is never required to use the app.
• Beta feedback. If you send feedback from Settings, your email may include the app version, device model information, rated wattage, and the notes you write.
• Crash reports. Crash diagnostics (stack traces, device model, app version) are collected to keep the app stable.

4. Affiliate links

When you tap a charger product, the app asks Voltly's server (uzg19.com) for the right store link, then opens Amazon directly. That request records an anonymous product tap: the product, the screen it was tapped on, the country (derived from your network connection and your SIM; your IP address itself is not stored), and the app version. If you have usage data turned on, the tap also carries your anonymous install ID (see section 5). Voltly may earn a commission when you purchase products through these links; this does not change the price you pay, and recommendations are ranked by your measured data, never by commission.

5. Usage data: on by default, easy to turn off

To understand what helps people charge faster, Voltly records anonymous product-usage events: for example, which screens are viewed, whether a charging session completes, whether a recommendation is shown, and how far a Premium purchase gets. These events go to Firebase Analytics and to Voltly's own server, tagged with a random install ID that is generated on your phone and is not linked to your name, email, or Google account. No charging history, contacts, or precise location are included, and the data is never sold or shared for advertising.

This is on by default, and the app tells you so during setup. You can turn it off at any time in onboarding or in Settings > About > “Share anonymous usage data.” Turning it off stops all usage events immediately and deletes the install ID from your phone.

6. Data deletion

You can delete all local Voltly data by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app. Cloud backups tied to a Google sign-in are removed when the linked data is deleted. To delete usage events or beta feedback stored on our side, contact us at the address below with your request.

7. Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes are announced in-app, and the date at the top of this page always reflects the latest revision.
