Terms of Use
Last updated 3 November 2026. These terms cover the UnScroll app for Android, made by Jogendra Singh, Urban Zamidar Group.
Using UnScroll
UnScroll helps you understand and change how you use your phone. Use it for yourself and keep your Google account secure; you are responsible for what happens under it. Wellbeing facts in the app are educational, not medical advice.
Early access
Early-access versions are test versions: features may change, and things may break. While the early-access offer runs, a new account gets 3 months of UnScroll Basic as promotional access. We may end the offer for new accounts at any time; access already granted runs to its end date.
UnScroll Basic
UnScroll Basic is sold through Google Play at the price shown in the app before you confirm. Google Play handles payment, renewal and cancellation; the subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Free trials and introductory prices are offered only where Google Play says you are eligible.
Promotional access
Early-access, leaderboard and invitation rewards are months of UnScroll Basic granted by UnScroll. They are not Google Play purchases, have no cash value, and are added after any access you already have.
Weekly leaderboard rules
Taking part is optional: opt in with a public name and leave at any time.
- Each day scores up to 100: 50 for staying within your app limits, 30 for finishing the activities you planned, 20 for reaching your focus target. Parts that could not be measured that day are left out rather than counted as zero.
- A day qualifies when at least two parts were measured.
- Weekly score = average of your best five qualifying days × 0.85 + 15 × (qualifying days ÷ 7).
- You are ranked with at least five qualifying days, three of them with screen time measured.
- Your targets are frozen when your week starts. Days follow your own time zone; weeks run Monday to Sunday and close on Tuesday at 03:00 India time.
- Scores are calculated on UnScroll's servers. Ties go to more qualifying days, then to whoever reached the score first.
Rewards: 1st place, 12 months of UnScroll Basic; 2nd, 6 months; 3rd, 3 months; places 4–50, 1 month. Rewards are promotional access, issued once per week per person, and may be withheld after a fraud review. They never change a Google Play purchase.
Fair play
Creating accounts to collect rewards, sharing accounts, or tampering with the app or its data can lead to rewards being withheld. We may review results before rewards are issued.
